find yourself, but make it fun
a tarot deck designed to invite self exploration with depth, levity, and imperfection

embrace imperfection
connecting deeply with others makes us happier, healthier, and more fulfilled. to do that, we need to feel connected to ourselves first. the self exploration required to do this is so fun and valuable, but it can also be intimidating and inaccessible. creating a deck that doesn't take things too seriously is my invitation for you to explore your inner world with both depth and levity without waiting for the conditions to be perfect.
i drew these myself
picasso once said "it took me four years to paint like raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child." i've spent my whole life working on my techniques as an artist and honestly hand drawing these with sharpies, allowing imperfection, was more difficult somehow? it's easy to hyperfixate on execution without remembering our why.

connect with yourself and others
tarot is a deck of illustrated cards where each picture invites a different energy and perspective. It comes with a little guide book that describes what each card represents. there are so many ways to use the deck! you can ask a question or have fun exploring someone's future and past through a new lens. it's a fun way to connect with others deeply and playfully and also to think about life in new ways.
hi
my name is jenny, i'm 29 and i've lived in seattle, nyc, and now dc. my favorite thing in the world is getting to know people really deeply (and also cats). i used to work in big tech on cloud computing but i left in favor of a chiller and more simple life. my goal in life is to laugh really hard until i can't breathe and also to make cool stuff that invites people to connect with each other in a pretty disconnected world. one of my favorite questions to ask people is "what is something you love so much that you love it even when it's bad?" (mine: stand up comedy)

cultivating deep connection unlocks health, joy, and human potential.lack of real social connection is associated with health risks that parallel smoking and obesity. feeling lonely, something familiar to so many people in the modern world, makes someone twice as likely to experience depression and consider self harm. our physical health, mental health, and the ability to fulfill our greatest potential is directly tied to how connected we feel to others.have you ever been lonely in a crowded room? connection is more than just being in proximity to and chatting with other people. carl jung, whose ideas are the backbone of modern psychology, said "Loneliness does not come from having no people about one, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to oneself." if you aren't capable of speaking about your authentic inner world with clarity and vulnerability, then it doesn't matter how many social things you go to. you're still going to feel alone in crowded rooms. you have to know yourself before you can really know another.there is a famous african proverb: "if you want to go fast, go alone. if you want to go far, go together."let's build deep connections with ourselves so we can build them with others. let's unlock health, joy, and fulfillment. let's go far.let's go together.
